Description
Personally, this is not the direction I would go with this team, I definitely think it is time for a rebuild. However, this is something I could see happening IRL.

Rutherford seems pretty adamant about getting younger and faster.
Bjugstad seems realistic to Jackets.
I think Pens move Murray not Jarry but Oilers should come hard after him, Bouchard would be good but they have a number of good young defenseman that would fit the bill.
I don't see Rust going anywhere. I think Rutherford will try and move Hornqvist instead, easier said than done, with his NTC.
Not sure what happens with JJ, sounds like GMJR really likes him but if he wants to move him he certainly wouldn't further devalue him by ripping him.
The Chicago trade I don't think Chicago does but I'm not sure.

Detroit's going to need more than a 3rd and a 4th to take a pylon like Johnson.

Gonna have to disagree with you there, super-chief. A $4M bottom-6 forward doesn't serve our needs at all, and our prospect pool is thin enough as it is without giving up picks. Gonna be a no thank you from Columbus.

I guess your right. I was thinking as a center but he really isn't a upgrade so I get your point.

Thanks for handling it like this! Yeah, we need a 2C (and I mean a 2C on a contender, not on, say, Ottawa), which Bjugstad really isn't at this point. We'd be better off keeping Wennberg at that point (which... ugh.)

You do realize that any JJ trade requires a 2nd+ minimum. Although from what I've been reading it sounds like he's staying in Pittsburgh

thank you, as a pens fan, very reasonable, thanks for not rating JJ is a bottom 5 contract in the league and needs 17 firsts and Marino to dump
