Leafs dont need prospects and someone who will never see the NHL on a stacked Leafs roster, nor do they need another first round pick, switch everything for Ellis + 3rd rounder (2021)

They could use those assets to get a very good top 4 D like DeAngelo, Brodin, Pesce etc

Why would the leafs not just use Nylander to trade for a quality RHD? No reason to accept this trade.

Idk, Pekka has been one of my favorite goalies for a long time but the dude was terrible this year, fell off a cliff. At 5 mill he has basically no value, would rather Jake Allen at this point and he went for a 3rd.
