Dubas will probs sign lehner at 6mill for 6 years. He will front load his contract with signing bonuses allowing for Lehner to get more cash money in the end. Basically one of the benefits of being a financially stable

With approx. 8 spots open. Pretty doubtful 1 yr of Andersen is moved for the 13 OV pick, when other options are available.

I don't think Lehner is a good option for Toronto. This market is not for all players and I feel Lehner falls into the category of bad fit. The market is tough and only certain types of players can handle that.

You could easily be right here. I tend to see it the other way though. If Carolina could have easily and cheaply solved their goalie issues they would have done so. With internal cap, the fact that Freddy only requires 1 million in real dollars after signing bonus there's serious value. PLus he wasn't a top ten goalie when they picked him up for a low first, now he is.

Valid point. There's enough options that Lehner is really just a space filler for a high end goalie in this scenario.
