Tough choice, he’s right there with Fox. Maybe Hesikanen if I was building a franchise but Ellis if I’m looking for best player at this moment...

Get John Carlson and his terrible defense down or out of this list.

Interesting. Can’t say much because it’s your opinion, but I think Josi is number 2.

It’s my opinion man. Make your own list if you feel so strongly about it...

Can Makar really be in the top 3 when he's really just an extremely talented offensive-defenseman? He doesn't play the penalty-kill much and gets incredibly favorable zone starts - over 2/3 of the time in the offensive zone. He's a very special player, but I just don't think he has the complete game at this stage to really be considered a top 3 defenseman in the league. I think both he and Hughes are incredibly talented offensively, but they need to be more well-rounded to get ranked so high for me at least. I'd have Heiskanen ahead of both of them at this stage of their careers so far.

Is that in order? I'll have Josi 1st, Carlson and Makar a little lower, and Pietrangelo in there. Pretty decent list though

Damn it forgot about Pietro I’d replace him with Fox or Jones
