Honestly, I don't know too in depth about either team, but it looks like this trade favours SJ. My breakdown is as follows:

Jones & Johnson wash each other out BUT SJ has the advantage because the term and cap hit are lower. Then it's essentially Murray, Hornqvist, and McCann for a 2nd and 4th which is a deal I would take all day. Hornqvist's cap hit is a bit high but SJ needs RW's and with Jones gone, it makes it more plausible. My take could be completely off though haha as again, I don't follow either team super closely.

Doubt if Hornqvist waives his NTC. Johnsson and Hornqvist seems to be too much unwanted cap for San Jose to consider.

Just sign Ho-Sang as the Isles will not qualify him. They are not going to be looking to move picks with him or take back contracts.

I could see SJ doing that, but it's just so much cap going back to SJ, that it worries me quite a bit.

I'm no fan of Murray, but I'd have to accept that.

Hard pass, would rather have JJ than Jones and Horny isn’t getting moved

This works well for us. Taking on so much salary is a tough pill to swallow, but we get what we need and keep assets so it’s good
