I don’t normally like trades where one team gets one very good/great player (Dumba) for a handful of good players, but...if the Wild made some subsequent moves...this could work.
I need a little intel on Liljegren’s progress and Mikheyev’s ceiling though.

Kerfoot isnt the center that Minnesota is looking for to trade Dumba.

Carolina doesnt take that. Canes keep 13OA. We'll send you Mrazek and a 2nd for Andersen.

Liljegren is looking like a potential 3-4 D-man & PowerPlay QB. Real calming presence on the ice. Smooth hands, Smooth Skating, Great shot, he just needs to get stronger.
Mikheyev surpassed Kapanen & Johnsson on Toronto's depth chart. Top 6 forward with good wheels, shot & creative playmaker.

Wild are Old, so I think they do take it. 2 mid 20's forwards, a 21yr old potential PP QB & 2 2nd rders. Kerfoot needs to be added for cap reasons.
Leafs would accept that Canes offer.

Wild are looking for a top 6 center for Dumba or any other defender. They arent looking for a 3C and other bottom 6 parts.

I'm with you on this one. I actually looked at this and thought "not too shabby." Billy G will definitely have had to make some moves first but this trade could work. Well done @KM87

On a side note, I really don't like that Florida trade. Not that I don't like Ekblad but I think that's a lot to give up for him.

The first ACGM I’ve genuinely loved every part of it. If I were to complain about one thing, it’s perry on the second line. Other than that, I like it.

Leafs are underpaying on Ekblad. Holl isn’t special he’s a dime a dozen defenseman

Yeah but we've exhausted pretty much every viable option on ACGM for Dumba for a 1C/2C. Why not have some fun and think outside the box a little bit? Obviously this isn't an ideal trade, and would probably be a last case scenario if nothing else pans out for the Wild, but at least this is a new idea.

Nylander and a 1st isn’t nearly enough for Ekblad. The only thing more expensive than a top pair RHD is a #1 center. Unless you seriously overpay no one is getting Ekblad.

Nylander and the 15th overall is already an overpay! Like holy hell.. get a grip on reality

Not to mention, if they have their long-term sights set on Barkov or another legit #1, these moves put them in better position to do so.

I’m with you on this one. Ekblad is quite mediocre when it comes to “top pairing RHDs.”
