Needs at least another 1+ imo.. Kakko and LaF have proven nothing while McDavid is the best player in the league (could argue 2nd but that’s irrelevant)

If you really want to talk about a McDavid trade, I'm pretty sure you'd need to drop Lundkvist and add Zibanejad. NYR probably could get the trade done, but it would cost them greatly.

IMO Edmonton would have to consider it. They have cap problems, and are having a hard time finding talent to surround McDavid.

Lafrienere, Drai, Nuge, Kakko, Yamamoto are 5 very solid building blocks. Convince Puljujarvi to come back and you are set at fwd for foreseeable future.

Nurse, Bear, Bouchard, Broberg and Lundkvist would be one of the best 25 and under D groups in the league.

If Georgiev could pan out as a No.1, they'd be set.

these guys could be the next Yak and Poolparty.... you dont trade a guy that will likely be a top 15 player ever for 2 question marks.... unless oilers are rebuilding and it would still cost more. situations like this happen what 1 time in 30 years?

Edit:

Kakko had 26 points in 66 games and was a -26... (+/- doesnt matter but when its this high it basically says he sucks at defense)

Mcdavid had 48 points in 45 games. -1 next 4 years he either broke 100 point or was on pace to lol oilers dont even consider this trade

This is the kind of value you get McDavid for with 1 or 2 years left on his deal not 6

Some guys struggle year 1 it’s normal but for a team that’s ready to compete right now in the oilers a trade centered around him makes no sense.. it’s Zib + kakko +1OA +georgiev+Carolina imo or the oilers laugh in your face

oh not all time lol. My bad, I misread. I meant among current players. McDavid is guaranteed to have a top 3 season every single year.
