Effectively 2 second round values for a first and a third pick. Not horrible, but not really what the Habs need.

Neither Turcotte, nor Byfield, nor Bjornfot will play in the NHL for more than 9 games this season.

Weird trade, but if the Kings are confident enough that Madden can some day fill that 3C role then Kings might accept depending on who is available at that pick.

Kings shouldn't plan to have Byfield or Bjornfot be part of their NHL lineups next year. They have potential to be great players, but you don't want to rush their development. In a year or two, they'll earn spots in your lineup. Having some patience with them will really payoff.

Its looking like Turcotte will have to play LW at the NHL level. It could end up being Byfield-Vilardi-Kopitar
