i honestly think zads has played himself into another contract from playoffs, i don't see us moving him now. But if Byram is ready to make the jump i think cole could get moved

Also, you have $600k to fill 3 roster spots. You can't just leave them blank.

Salary can never be used as a tool/measurement of a players talent/ability.

MacKinnon is half the salary of McDavid, is he half as good?
Danault is 3x Suzuki salary, is he better?

Point being, even if he's a compromise, that's why Poehling is more valuable than Calvert under this scenario as Avs wouldn't have the extra $2M to afford him.

The lack of cap space is caused by the delusional idea that Holtby signs for 8mil.
You sign him to a more logical 6mil, easy 2mil extra

A team with Jost on the 2nd line isn't a "super team". squinty smile

Just remove Holtby and keep Francouz and Calvert. Maybe trade for Kuemper if you have the capspace.
