Why do the Rangers give up that much for 1 year of RNH? Looks to be most productive on the wing of Mcdavid or LD (shocker) lol

lol, you get a guy who becomes the best winger on your team right off the bat, a 1B caliber goalie, a future 2/3C AND a late 1st for a potential rental and an older Pavel Buchnevich with a deal till he's 34.

    hard pass.

Let’s be honest Rangers aren’t serious contenders next year so why don’t they just sign RNH as a UFA and keep all the assets or move them for futures. Hank and staal gone that offseason so they’ll have space.

Edmonton just re-signs him. What reason does he have to move to NYR? Unless their overpaying him.

Very reasonable approach. I agree. No need to impulse buy any position of need at the moment. We have an expansion draft coming as well.

They are signing him with what money? I’m imagine rangers can get a 50-55 point center for way less than what it’ll cost for RNH

Well ya 80 point centres tend to cost more than 50 point centres.

On pace for 82 points this season, 69 points last season, on pace for 63 points the season before that (3rd line minutes).

He's been tending upwards every single season and has been on pace for 63-82 points every season.

You say Duhhhhh when what you're saying is just plain wrong lmao. People said Duhhhhh the Earth is flat too.

Who was he playing with as a center? Some 4th liners? Lol (he was still always a 60+ point player)

Playing with Panarin... he'll get 80 points.
