I can't handle another year of Tyson Jost. How many chances can you give this guy? 1 single point in 12 playoff games. Logan O'Connor outplayed him.

So Vancouver signs Markstrom and has Demko, And then trades for Francous. Vancouver has no need for Francous.

Yeah I paid some attention to him during our series cause him and Zadorov are popular trades on here and was not impressed with Jost at all. Zadorov was good at times. Bura was a steal. I wanted him so bad back when Washington was shopping him
AvsCOL liked this.

Just a lot wrong here. Burakovsky has a career year gets less than a 900k raise? Nichushkin and Jost contracts are about 900k-1M off. Graves contract is probably short a $1M as well. Just letting Z walk. Brassard isn’t coming back and shouldn’t. Don’t need Green. Lehner I could see them doing but if VGK advances I think he is a lock to return there. Don’t need Ennis, and VAN ONLY considers that if they lose Markstrom.

make it a 3rd, or a 4th, or a 5th, doesn't matter.

Vancouver is cap strapped because of Loui, Luo, and Sven. A goalie on the cheap who can play 25 games wouldn't be bad.

With a flat cap for 2 seasons, and Demko, Pettersson and Hughes up for contract at the same time I think they go cheap on goaltending and let Demko split duties.

Jost is a 30 point 3rd liner at this point, he gets a bridge.

Nicushkin is also a 30 pointer who may run off again, give him a bridge.

add 500k-1M to their contracts, who cares. still a bridge for 3rd liners.

Vegas has no room for Lehner, especially with 2 years of Fleury left. (maybe look at teams before spouting nonsense)

Zadorov was a mistake, I had him being traded to Ottawa for a pick.

Did you not catch what Fleury’s agent did? They’ll trade him or do what’s necessary to keep Lehner, and I’m fully aware of their cap situation. But maybe you should be more informed on the ACGM you make when you have them signing guys they already had in Brassard, and guys they don’t need in Ennis and Green when they have internal players like Byram, Kaut and LOC who are cheaper and already with the team. And I didn’t have probably with the term for Jost and Nichushkin but they are going to make more than 1.1M even on bridges.

We aren't gonna give up a pick for a goalie we could find in free agency

As Fleury just plays game 1 over Lehner?

They lost because they need a little more depth and experience, replacing them with rookies doesn't help the team on their current window before they have to spend a ton of money and the team starts to fall apart a little.

Fleury didn’t start over Lehner, Lehner started the back to back including game 7. And the Avs didn’t lose because they lack depth 🙄, they lost for 2 reasons. PK and goal tending. PK is asinine because they have the talent but somehow go from being a dominant one 5v5, to against the Stars of allowing the Stars to score on 42% of their power plays. And yes goal tending. In loses to the stars their best save percentage was .854 and they easily could of won 3 of the 4 games they lost. So yeah They don’t need to add end of the bench guys or some asinine plan to add a guy they already had and didn’t want to bring back.
