Lets make some changes

Team: 2020-21 Calgary Flames
Initial Creation Date: Sep. 4, 2020
Published: Sep. 4, 2020
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Adding Dvorak and putting him with his London Knights line mate Takachuk could be the spark he needs to ignite his Jr scoring touch, and since they're familiar with each other it makes for a good fit.

Domi wants to be a center, so let him show what he's got. If it's not working there's enough versatility to move any of Dvorak, Domi, Backlund up/down int he lineup at any time.

Interesting move, i guess i don't watch enough Flames games but has Monahan been playing center or has he moved to the wing?

He's always played at Center

I guess the real question is, why trade him for Domi then? Is that not a downgrade in your mind

Also, wasn't Domi on the same line as Tkachuk and Dvorak in London too?

Idk, that looks like just a bunch of spare parts going to Arizona, they'd surely reject that offer.

The first 3 pieces in the ARI trade all have none or very little value. Kuemper and Dvorak would cost a ton

Nope, 3rd member of that line was Marner

Arizona wants to recoup the picks they lost, and they NEED to shed cap money...and stranger things have happened

Show me an ACGM team that has had everything the poster created actually happen.

Look, if that was all it took to get Kuemper and Dvorak, Treliivng would make the deal yesterday.

If you wouldn’t give away key players from the Flames for nothing, it’s probably fair to assume other teams won’t do it either

Sure, think they'd want some better quality assets in return though.

I thought the same thing but Domi left the year before Tkachuk joined the team. I could see them being good line mates though. I agree on the note of being a downgrade from Monahan to Domi regarding the C role.
