It makes more sense to buyout clutterbuck, he’s a solid 4th liner, good defensively and on the pk, his offense diminished after trotz became HC- if the isles trade one of their RFA dmen to the jets, they’d probably ask for one of ehlers/Connor

lol that is just not true - pelech and pulock both had their break out seasons before trotz became HC and toews is an elite 5 v 5 D. Trotz is one of the most overrated coaches in the league , his system stifles offense, yet toews is an elite driver of offense

Toews and pulock are both legitimate top pairing defenseman
