Ottawa rejects. We'd need a late 1st for Tierney not a late 2nd.

Murray will go to arb and get 6Mx1. Not sure you wanna give up so much for that.

Murray has been heavily linked to COL in the last few months of so. I don't know what the contract would look like, but I assume it'd be figured out before the trade occurs. The trade would be contingent on him signing an extension obviously.

I think it would be more like 5Mx2 or 6Mx1 if he takes it to arb (arb often overpays)

That's why they insist on moving Murray rather than Jarry.

So he'd take $5mil x 2, but not $4.75mil x 3? I think you're splitting hairs here.

Big difference. Less money and more term... I'm not even sure he'd take 5Mx2 that was my low estimate.

Basically he has a lot of power in contract negotiations.

Murray for Jost, 3rd

Pittsburgh declines as Jost offers nothing that the Penguins want or need.

A young cost controlled forward for the bottom 6? Sounds like exactly what they need.

Then the Pens counter with a 3rd for Jost and your 3rd. Jost would be 12/13F in Pittsburgh. Not getting a starting goalie for a 12/13F and a 3rd.
