Sorry but you’re not getting brodin for a guy who ended up on the 4th line and has showed disinterest in playong for your team. His stock has tanked, I don’t agree that MTL should sell low on him, but not sure what else you could do with him at this point.

You know the last 2 seasons Domi as more points than Laine ? He’s value isn’t low at all, the reason he played on the 4th line is he wanted to play Center and with Weise

Value might be fair but I would prefer to keep Khovanov and the 1st.

To be honest, I don't think the return in a Domi deal could be less than the Kapanen trade. It's a first, plus a quality prospect. Or an equivalent roster player.
If it is not Brodin, I assume my proposal is pretty fair, isn't it?

I assumed Boldy and Kaprizov untouchable, reason why I suggest Khovanov that I really like.

Yeah we do too, and he's the only potential top 6 center in the organization.

Hopefully Guerin doesn't fall into the Domi trap. He's very skilled but makes terrible decisions which causes so many turnovers.

As has already been stated, he's the only Wild prosect that could be viewed as a top 6 center. They're not moving him.

He’s a slightly more talented version of Jason Zucker...whom i was glad Guerin shipped out for all the same reasons we aren’t interested in Domi!

Except Domi isn't signed for 2 more years at under 4 million, this is where his value drops, get him signed to under 5 and you'll get what you want for him , but a disgruntled RFA tends to have lower value as the aquiring team still has to deal with the contract

Valid point. I believe he'll be signed short term but maybe a bit north of 4 millions $.

Get him signed so you can get full value, once signed teams Like Buffalo, Minnesota and CBJ will certainly have interest and 2 have a pressing need for Domi at C , if he is under contract there is no reason 8 OA out of Buffalo wouldn't be in the conversation

His value has definitely dropped lol, he’s obviously unhappy in MTL as he wants to play C and there’s no room for him there in the top 6. Hence why he was playing 4th line. I don’t know why you’re bringing him and laines pt totals into the conversation? Domi has had one good year his whole career. Laine has never scored under 25 goals in a season where Domi has only done it once lol. That whole point is just nonsense when you look at the bigger picture. Domis value has dropped, you can’t deny that. He’s an unsigned RFA that can push his way to FA in 2 years, he also was on the 4th line because he was too much of a crybaby to just play wing in the top 6. What I just mentioned lowers his value. Now if you guys could get him signed 5-6 years at a reasonable amount, or have him agree to an extension based on where he’d be traded, his value once again rises.

Agree with that, but is value isn’t low. All what you mentioned lowest is value, but is value is still high

I think due to the kapanen trade he’s worth a 1st and a B prospect. If he’s signed long term you’d likely get a 1st and top prospect. By low value I meant in terms of what he was worth 3-4 months ago.

I would do this deal way before Brodin. Minny’s 1st will be good and Khovanov is a legit prospect that could grow with Romanov

I never meant to imply straight up Domi and 8 OA, it's Domi + and 8 OA can be part of the conversation

Yeah I do agree here. I don't think Domi is worth a top 10 pick. A mid to late first is more realistic.
