Palms is a warrior and very underrated. Toronto would be lucky to have a player like him. My hope would be for him to remain on the Devils not only for his goal scoring which has really been consistent since he came from Anaheim where he was buried in the lineup at the time. I really like Nylander and think he would love playing alongside Nico and Jack

That Devils trade is complete garbage. Nylander is the best player and Sandin is going to be great as well.

Disagree, Nylander may be the best 'scorer' or most skilled player, but you have to take into account the intagibles and team needs. Palmeri can score but brings so much more to a team trying to find its identity.

Sandin is great yes, but we have a deep Left Side already, and our need is RD. We have liljgren who will take some time to develop but will be a top 4D within a few years. We fix some issues now and add depth at forward and D as well as leave some cap space for the TDL.

You have to give to get unfortunately.
