VAN has no need for forwards they're better off using their first to move Eriksson or trade for a RD

i mean they dump sutter though essentially for the first in this, but get a major upgrade in kreider in return. Throw in another dump in baertshi and a very close-to bust prospect juolevi. Im definitely considering this if im van

What an overpayment for Dunn. Kreider M NTC kills the deal and Vancouver probably doesn't like that long term Kreider contract any more than you do. Staal doesn't waive for a bottom feeder in his last NHL season. Flyers easily say no. Keep Niskamnen and then have 8m cap space for 5 years instead of the overpaid Trouba. Flyers aren't giving up a pick either.

Moving Sutter and Baertschi does nothing to help their cap when Petey and Hughes need contracts. Juolevi may never live up to his 5th overall status but he could very well become their Edler replacement. I also don't like the term on Kreider's contract. The trade just doesn't make any sense from Vancouver's point of view

All these trades suck and the rangers would be worse off for these trades.. they need a 2C not sven baerschi Sutter and niskanen. They won't trade kredier until at least the 3rd or 4th yr before his ntc kicks in hes not going anywhere . And trouba don't think anyone would take that big cap hit for the next 6 yrs.

How does it not help them? firstly baertschi has 0 value to them now so who cares but also he expires when their contracts are up anyways. Dumping sutter absolutely helps, getting rid of his near 4.5 million in cap would be huge towards signing them, but at the cost of basically juolevi and a first i think thats tremendous value for what i think kreider would do for that team.

Sutter only has one year left so moving him doesn't actually do anything, and like I said we don't need Kreider our top 6 is pretty good and I don't like his term.

Vancouver can't do that deal with the Rags because they're already trading their 2021 1st to LA to dump Eriksson.
