I like the direction to focus on defense first. Zadorov is another popular add to help the left side - although I’m pretty sure he’s competent on both L/RD

I think Mattaa played well for Chicago, its too bad but I think Chicago takes that trade. I was hoping his value would be better but 3rd round seems to be a popular return for him.

Is he an offensive Dman or you think he can hold it down defensively. I feel like NJ needs solid defensive guys that can prevent goals

There’s way too few good ones of those in the NHL. Maybe Graves-Severson
Smith-Schneider could be a future top 4
