This is what I would do if I were GM.

I think the Buffalo trade works very well for both parties.

Leafs look really good in the short and in the long term.

Good depth at all positions.

Dont think buf would be on board. You can switch montour risto or miller with joki and then it would be good for both parties

I agree with this. But Buffalo fans say Jokiharju is untouchable. So I gave a package which in all reality should never be rejected by Buffalo fans.

Which parties? The sabres and the sabres? This is already tilted towards the sabres heavily.

I find it best to not listen to every fan on here. I have a select few that I consider able to look past their own bias and give an honest opinion.

Ya fair enough! I think Nylander + Dermott for 8th overall and Jokiharju would be fair.

This team does look really good though! Haha

Jokiharju is not getting traded. If the conversation begins with him that’s when the phone hangs up. Huge trades do not happen between division rivals, especially when the players going each direction can burn their former teams for the next decade. The only way Jokiharju wears the leafs sweater in the next few years is in NHL 21.
