No chance the Jets give up a young player with top 6 potential for a rental.

Totally agree, so many trades on here by Jets fans and non Jets fans where Roslovic is traded for a mediocre pick or a rental or someone else's disgruntled/need a change of scenery young player make very little sense for the Jets imo.

Also as bad as the Jets defense is they're actually extremely short on forward depth and forward prospects, imo they really can't afford to just give Roslovic away without getting something back that adds some longer term value.

I agree. He's about the only guy in the bottom 6 with any offensive talent and could probably hold down a top 6 spot if he wasn't in Winnipeg.

I don't mind moving him as part of a package for an improvement elsewhere in the lineup. But moving him for rentals or short term lateral move fixes don't help the Jets at all. He's not a throw away piece.

Why is AA getting a raise? More than likely Holland takes him to arbitration to argue for a pay cut.
