Description
Could Ilya fill a need and be Connors shooter for a year, could he still keep up?

Also I really like Kuemper and wonder what the cost would be..

And can we convince Seattle to take one of Kassian,Neal,Koskinen, or AA (if he doesn’t pan out) next year?

Lines aren’t set in stone, lots of potential combinations depending on output

Why not put Haas on the PK? also i doubt PIT, MTL do those trades, and i dont think EDM would do the TOR or ARZ trades.

You realize Montreal is trading up two spots right? It's not really that far off, you normally have to use a mid-second to move up a couple spaces in the mid-1st area. 14+45 got 11 last year, 16+48 for 14+3rd liner is a decently fair deal. To counter with that is childish

No, the players at 12 to 20 have all the same potential, we won’t trade up. Amirov Mercer Gunler Holloway Bourque Schneider are all around there, we’ll take whoever will fall at 16, that’s it. Chiasson doesn’t have value in this trade, we can have him for a 4th, we are not paying a 2nd neither a 3rd to move 2 spots with the prospect available at 14

I agree, and that's the appropriate response, but if there was a guy you really liked at 14 the value is there, it's not like the proposed deal here was Kassian for Suzuki

I agree with you if Quinn or Sanderson drop to 14th we will be calling you to make this trade

Lol don't mistake me for an Oilers fan 🤮 but yeah, if the scenario was right it totally makes sense for Montreal to do this trade. Scouts always have a guy pegged as the one they want. Maybe Schneider goes to Florida at 12 and the Habs hear that the guy they really want (Holloway? Zary? Jarvis?) is Toronto's new target at 15. It would make sense from the team's perspective to bunny hop them in that case as well if they're super high on that guy

Habs only accept if Quinn is miraculously availabe. And can people please stop with these ridiculous Kuemper trades. I thought this year's playoffs might have helped, but all these people in the Armchair GM teams are making me think he's the most underrated player in the league.

Penguins do not need LHD's right now. If they would go for one it would need to be a top-4 if not top-pair type guy (as part of a bigger overall deal). 6/7D Russell and a never-was ain't going to do it for McCann
