I bet the CBJ would be ok with all but Wennberg in this deal if this came to be. I would want to keep Bjorkstrand and offer a 1st rounder instead. Either way, I think the value is still there substituting a 1st round pick for either Wennberg or bjorkstrand...any thoughts on this?

If you want Gaudreau, one of Werenski (Untouchable), Wennberg, Jenner, or Bjorkstrand/Atkinson has to come back. We took on Hartnell to help with cap issues, granted he's still a great player, taking away Wennberg leaves to Hartnell, Bjorkstrand, a cap dump in Campbell, and a good but not elite prospect in Carlsson. No way would Flames consider it, especially not for Backlund added onto Gaudreau. If Gaudreau goes alone, I don't mind substituting Wennberg for a 1st rounder, but with Backlund it's Wennberg or bust. The above ones must be considered.

Still losing much more production than we receive. Still don't think it's worth it.
