Team: 2020-21 Chicago Blackhawks
Initial Creation Date: Sep. 6, 2020
Published: Sep. 6, 2020
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
This team is a serious contender and also doesn't sacrifice the future with 17th Oa this year and 2 1sts next year. Chicago would use the 2021 picks to work a deal with Seattle to take Seabrook so they can hold on the Pesce, Brodin, and Kieth with Boqvist and Mitchell being exempt

More realistic of a return than Leaf fans offering Justing ****ing holl and a 3rd as if that is all it takes to get a 2nd pair D

Yeah cause thats what I was referring to, if I say something is an overpayment I don't want it to be a fair trade, I want it to be an underpayment... Settle down

Which is just fine. He was the best defender on Chicago. Better then Mattaa, De haan, Keith, Seabrook, Boqvist, and Keokko.

That offense is significantly weaker, and that's scary because it was already pretty shallow.

not relevant to the post that much but yes he does. He's been pretty open about going wherever he is able to play hockey, and Seattle is very close to his home in Vancouver, so I think it's safe to assume he would waive if he got pissed about sitting in the press box all season

I don't think I agree with that statement. Basically subtracted DeBrincat and Strome and added hall and shaw back. Is it weaker? probably. but only by a little. And playing better defense will lead to better offense. The bottom 6 forwards are a little weak but this is still one of the better top 6's in the league

Have you seen Hall play this past season? He's not really an upgrade. We have no idea what Shaw would bring, I'm assuming he'll start on the 4th line, and this is giving Nylander too many minutes.

3rd line is not too many minutes for Nylander. Either we trade him (basically give up on him) or we need to give him enough minutes to see what he's got. He had a solid rookie year considering he played only 12 mins per game. If you want to cut his role in the playoffs that's one thing, but it's time to expand his role a bit in the regular season
