Funny I was just working on an outrageous type of agm too.

Andersen 50% retained Robertson and nylander for necas and Pesce.

Two firsts liljegren and Dermott for Parayko.

Look, im not saying thats what was / is on the table.....and whoever claims those "rumors arent credible".....i dare to bet all 31 Teams are talking to other 30 Teams one way or another....

Thing is...im overpaying again...but homers from other Teams think anything that makes TML better isnt doable / is delusional........

Right now Toronto has the following RD's under contract for 2020-2021:

Justin Holl
Timothy Liljegren
Joseph Duszak
Mac Hollowell

In that environment, assuming you don't get Parayko and Pesce, would you trade Liljegren for Blake Lizotte and Michael Anderson?

Those references arent really on spot quality-wise, on LA side you are talking about three youngsters with first full season behind them and from TML im sending you Kerfoot who jumps into your 2nd Line imidiatelly and a 2nd Pair LD, so

If the right side of your defense is Holl, Liljegren, Duszak and Hollowell, it would be idiotic to trade Liljegren for a #3C and another LD.

And no, Kerfoot would not be our #2C this season. That spot goes to Gabe Vilardi unless he plays himself out of it.
