Stamkos isn't moving. Partly because he's the face of the franchise, partly because due to his injury-proneness TB wouldn't get the full price out of the guy.

Stamkos is still prolific enough that you'd get a decent return. Any worries about injuries are premature as he's only missed 29 games in the last 3 seasons.(and that includes games lost to the quarantine this season)

You can count Detroit out they can't afford to give up anything TB would want.

There would be plenty of teams interested in stamkos and it’s something I thought of as a way for Tampa to retain all the players in their current lineup. I’d be interested in seeing him as a cane.

    Montreal accepts!

But with Vasilevskiy signed long term, I just don't see Tampa being quite that interested in Price.

    Because Isles will bounce back.

Anyone can see that NYI was drained from the PHI series. TB had a week's rest there so they looked much fresher.

Thing is: normally it's the opposite. The team with a bye week gets man handled by the team that has been balling. This wasn't the case.
The more the series goes on, the more in tune Tampa will be and the rest they got will benefit them, while the Isles will be more and more fatigued.

Don't get me wrong, as a Bolts fan I'd be happy if that was the case. But I just can't see Trotz's team being so much behind us that this would happen again...
