Add Zibanejad and Miller and DAL probably won't laugh at this foolish offer.

I wouldn't move Heiskanen alone for this. He's probably the most valuable D in the entire league at the moment.

You both realize he put the 1st overall pick in the deal right? Accidental or not, it’s there.

No that was on purpose, I was gonna say how do they think that there is that much missing from the deal

I did notice. But I don't care.

As good as Lafreniere is, he's still a question mark. No one can say whether he becomes the next Yakupov, even if that is extremely unlikely.

Heiskanen is an absolute franchise D-man at 21. That's saying something. There's probably only a handful of players in the league that DAL might consider moving Heiskanen for, probably not even that much.

I could see adding Miller but no chance on Zibanejad

Not really the point...just saying that there's virtually no chance DAL moves Heiskanen for anything.

Out of all players running on their ELCs, I'd say Heiskanen is the most valuable league-wide. And DAL is not in position to move the guy, not just because of him being that cheap, but also because he's our best skater by a clear margin.

Honestly only if it was McDavid or MacKinnon coming our way, then I'd probably take it.

Otherwise we'd likely lose every other exchange.

The Blues are not looking for a goalie. Dallas scoffs hardcore at that proposal. No way you're getting Heiskanen, and Trouba may as well be radioactive.

Caps' RHD depth chart today (all levels): Carlson, Jensen. I don't think Jensen moves, let alone for just a pick.

The Rangers could be another target to move Kempny for a 2nd, though, if Dillon is likely to re-sign, or if the Caps target a star forward UFA.

You're right...Dallas not moving Heiskanen
Nor are the Rangers trading away #1or taking back Seguin at 9.5M for an eternity
I guess we can stop the insanity right here.

Hot take: Chytil and Lafreniere equals Kuznetsov, Jensen, and Eller, plus a place to dump Trouba's contract.
