    I like the thought process.
Josh Anderson may be worth a bit less, maybe a 2nd and 6th?
Gaudreaux may be worth a bit more, a 3rd draft pick or so???

Your team actually looks scary good. You might get blasted by Flames fans for having both Freddy & Flower, but depth in net is never a bad thing (and Freddy is off the books next year so not a biggee).

I think VGK really considers that deal. However I think any move they make has to shed salary and shedding only 250K might not cut it. Unless they decide to flip Gio.

    Well done...good post.

Definitely agree with the above comment, but the leafs decline that deal. They aren't looking for a lateral move, they either want a good prospect and pick for him and sign a Ufa or trade for the same caliber of goalie with a couple other smaller things being exchanged

The sabres trade is horrible for them. They need a top 6 centre and top 6 RW. You took one away and gave them 2 yrs of lW.

Cbj trade is bad. Sign Leivo for free and get the sure thing. Anderson will not sign that contract and he is a huge question mark. Has not produced since panarin left.

Hell yes OS Barzal. Pretty sure they’ll match... then bang! Hit them with the pulock OS lol.

Less than zero chance Buffalo does that. They are not in a position to be giving up future all-stars to contend now.

Zero chance Wings take 3 years at 5.25 million for a player who seems to be a problem. Wings do not need as a rebuilding team a player who is not part of the future at that price.

Above the comment was 2 1sts but I know you beleive you could get away with one, maybeif you took a shorter contract back, but iappears you want to clear cap and that costs. Marleau and Backes got 1sts and those were for 6 million 1 year, I t is going to cost more for 3 years at 5.25 milluon.

Ok. It's hard for me to see them give away Anderson though.
You think Gaudreau is worth more? I thought I was pushing it with this.

It isn't about the compensation it's not wanting Lucic in what is going to be a very young locker room.

They could theoretically switch Johnny or Skinner to RW so I don't think that's a problem. Assuming with some line manipulation that fills the RW hole. That'll be the price to get a guy like Gaudreau if they do target him though. Kahun, 8oa or 2021 1st can be interchanged in there. Jokiharju is ideal though as it fills the Flames hole on RD and gives us a good future C prospect. I can totally see the downside but also see an upside.

I like the risk/reward for Anderson. We can slide a guy like Gaudreau along side him (keep in mind these are more separate trades as opposed to an entire offseason). I really like his game and want him.

    Good idea lmao

Prospects. Jokiharju is pretty much a guarantee. Cozens is still very much a prospect though. Remember a guy named Casey Mittelstadt lmao. I totally understand the downside though.

Ye fair. I think a 1st and conditional 1st might get it done. Maybe LA? Melnyk is way too cheap for Ottawa to do it

Negative. All reports point to the same or slightly more money being spent on the position.
