What is this garbage nonsense??? You couldn't get Parayko for you offered and then you want the blues to give up a 1st to clear 2 mill in cap space???

Austin Mathews for Steen and faulk is what you just offered

Tf u talkin about, Blues get rid of Steens 5.7mill contract and get a 3rd or 2nd line player, future top for or even number 2 d man and a 2nd. And now they can sign Pietrangelo and Dunn.

Liljegren is a former 7th who we could get any comparable value in fa or calling someone up. he literally does nothing for the blues.

3rd or 2nd line player? this dude wouldnt make our 4th line

And you think somehow that Parayko is equal to johnson what a joke? And somehow you want the blues to pay you a 1st on top of that to take steen just to save a couple million as opposed to buying him out. This trade only helps Toronto. The blues aren't paying you to take one of the best shutdown D-men in the league. Thats what TF im talking about

Bro what??? Liljegren is a former 1st who is one of the top d prospects in the league, (if u even know what a prospect is) (and he's a defenseman) Johnsson can play 2nd or 3rd line, and u guys also get a 2nd rounder. Also Marleau's contract was very similar and costed a 1st to get rid of it. (and now with the flat cap might cost even more). So TF u talkin about.

Meant to say that Johnsson was a former 7th. Point still stands he offers zero value for a team like the blues or most teams. Look at our lineup and tell me he beats out anyone on the second or third line. he's 4th line at best which offers nothing to this trade. One of the best shutdown D in the league for an "up and coming prospect" isn't even remotely the same. That's like me saying you should take a trade of Marner for Kyrou and a 2nd because he's an up and comer. And no Marleau's not the same as Steen. Marleua is a one dimensional player that was needed to score goals and when that stopped he had zero value. Steen is a versatile all around player. The entire trade boils down to us paying you a 1st to take steen. and then Liljegren and a 2nd for parayko.

Aight I mean Im not a leafs fan whatsoever but I think its decently fair maybe change the 2nd to a 1st, but I don't think we are going to end up convincing the other that its fair or not. So congrats on ur team winning the cup last year and I hope u guys can keep Pietrangelo, have a nice day and I'll see u in other forums. (Fun debating with u) smile
