Henrique for DeAngelo

Henrique is aging and on a heavy deal. I think I'll step away from that but it's not bad of an offer.

I’m always confused by that. Obviously he doesn’t have the best contract but he was the Ducks leading scorer last year... a lot of people say he’s “an old washed up player” which makes absolutely no sense to me.

Rangers probably accept. How's Beaudin looked so far?

I didn't say he was washed, just aging. I want someone who isn't gonna fall off by the time we are real contenders.

Not bad but I think we'd look for a first or a impactful player or prospect if we are gonna move him

George stays imo. Too many goalies on the market. I think the CAR 1st and Kravstov are also on the block.

He’s only 30. He’s got at least 6 more years. 3-4 of actually good

I went off what the caps got for Grubauer which was just a 2nd rounder and a buyout. How about this offer from the canes: Buchnevich, Georgiev and the canes first for Torontos first and a second

I disagree. DeAngelo has had more points this year than Henrique career high. Better options out there. Appreciate the offer but its not cutting it.

Henrique is the better player and it's not even close. Cost controlled (likely in the same amount TDA will want), and on a team without the offensive talent we have. He'd be so much more impactful than he was on the Ducks.

If I'm ANA, I reject this deal. They get a player who contributes most of his value on the PP, will cause a ton of distractions off ice and take a ton of penalties while being a huge defensive liability.

Another clueless fan who acts like DeAngelo is bad at defense. Look at his advanced statistics maybe that should enlighten you a touch. DeAngelo is a 50 point RHD at 24. Henrique is a 50 point C on a good year at 30 with a $5.8M cap through age 35.

Grubauer??

Yes, that trade was at the draft 2 years and i see him and Georgiev having similar value when they were moved. And lol the trade was supposed to be Georgiev not Grubauer

No the offer you just made had Grubauer but Carolina doesn't have him. Yes I remember that trade it was:
Colorado Avalanche
- Philip Grubauer
- Brooks Orpik ($5M cap dump)
Washington Capitals
- 2nd round pick
