I think the problem that Pittsburgh has had is that they have had many starting-calibre goaltenders over the years yet have never had a truly elite goalie.

pitts has always been about scoring vs defense .. 4-3 5-4 over 1-0 2-1 games ... think edmonton of the 80's rather then 2000 devils.. MAF will be in the HOF 1st ballot ..

that being said this is a pretty good trade IF and only if andersson agrees to extension prior to the trade .. too much for 1 yr of andersson
