Wouldnt Buch be a good guy to involve in a trade for Domi?

Way too much for Domi considering Robertson has top 4 upside, plus a 1st in this loaded draft. At the cost to resign I’d rather Strome who we know works with Panarin over Domi who may or may not mesh well with him. Not knocking Domi, but I think he’d be a mistake for us. Could just keep Strome at the same price and move on from him if we felt we needed to.

Yeah I think Montreal would rather wingers unless they get a star LD that can play now. But they have Strubble, Romanov, Mete, Norlinder, and a few other guys at LD

I feel like the Rangers would prefer it to be Zac Jones who is another LHD with top 4 upside, but I’d personally be okay with it because Danault is a well established 2 way center which we could certainly use.

If Montreal did that I think it’d be a fair deal for both sides. Might need picks to even it out, but it could definitely work with that framework.

I think Rangers would certainly listen and take that trade seriously. Might need to be tweaked, but seems decent for everyone.

I am convinced that no Domi trade will ever satisfy Habs fans.
This appears to be all that they asked for...yet, it is a thirst that will never be quenched.

The thirst will be quenched... when Domi is traded and we can stop talking about this.

I think that the only Domi trade that will satisfy Habs fans is the one that Bergevin will make.

Just based on his recent trade record, I'm confident he can get value out of Domi.

We’re not at all interested in Andersson/Robertson. I don’t think the Rangers are a good fit for trading Domi to.
