Big overpay by Leafs. Hjalmarsson likely ain't waiving anyway, but really is Hammer going to make a difference for one year? Getting rid of the Leafs best RHD Holl for nothing IMO is foolish. For some reason other teams Dmen seem to be Norris candidates in trade value to the Leafs

He was the Leafs best RHD last season. Sorry for the folks who think Barrie is worthy of big UFA contract. Why do so many folks think middling Dman are so valuable in a trade when they traded to the Leafs? Holl played 20 minutes a game, often against the top lines and was plus player. Just because he isn't a "name" doesn't make him a poor player
