Tage Thompson shouldn't be on your ideal roster...

In before Vegas fans explode.

The Pittsburgh trade actually makes us worse

I wouldn't hate it if Montreal accepted, moving up that far in the draft would be really nice.

If that happens I just hope Bergevin uses the cap it frees up to make an enticing offer to Hall.

I honestly thinks both trades a very fair. Vegas is getting young minute eater RHD dman for 30 year winger.

For pit deal. I think having two good goalies next year will be key to having a good season. If one goalie goes down with Covid it will be very important to having a solid backup.

Yeah, but Marchessault is pretty widely known to quite good and Ristoleinen is quite bad (regardless of how much he plays).

Not sure how that's supposed to be fair.

Is this sarcasm? Isn't it up 1 spot?

We'd be going from 16th to 8th.

It’s not terrible. Would prob like just a little more back, but it does free up a spot for Tuch in the top 6

I don't think you understand how bad he is.

I'd do it without our 2nd round pick, Domi may not be worth the 8th overall by himself but there's an argument to be made that a top six center's worth more than moving up 8 spots. I'd give a 4th or 5th back along with our first.

Buffalo would need to add.
The exchange of picks and MTL moving up is equivalent to a late first and late 2nd, IMO he is worth more.
