All those rings certainly say so. Ohh wait. You guys have one of the best teams in the league, set up to be able to defeat injuries. Mackinnon is on a sweetheart deal and will be making 13 mill a year soon. Makar obviously is a deal rn. Jost is young and cheap. Graves. Zadorov. Etc.

MM looked great in two of his 3 games this year. Francouz looked a little shakey even when healthy. Grubauer has never proven to be "the guy" either.

Could Hagelin be available for almost free if the Caps decide to use the cap space elsewhere? I don't see why not. Does he suddenly have negative value after playing on a 30 point pace last year and helping the Caps' penalty kill go from a bottom 10 group to a top ten group? Hardly. He's good at what he does, and the Caps need their 2nd round picks. Hands offa that. smile
