Description

CHI trade - based on one I saw before. Chicago gets a defenseman off their books, we get Wood off ours, maybe a 4th or 3rd would be better but just seeing what the price is for now

ANA trade - Getting Carrick off the roster, it hasn’t really worked out for him in NJ as he’s always fighting for a lineup spot

WPG trade - Ehlers seems to be the cheaper option trade wise for NJ than Laine. I don’t think Winnipeg realistically trades him but just curious to see what his price is as well and with new players getting into the lineup for NJ, I think Palms and Butcher become expendable.

The issue with trading Palmieri is that Holtz is definitely not NHL ready for this coming season, maybe not even the next season. It creates a massive hole then.

who cares? this team isn't competing the next 2 years anyways, maybe Foote gets a look in the top 6 with Hughes. Ehlers can play both sides so not really leaving a hole too. we wait a year or 2 and then our top 6 is Bratt-Hischier-Gusev, Ehlers-Hughes-Holtz? that's unreal.

ah lol, all good buddy. yeah there are very few players I would trade 7th for. Holtz is so good and exactly what we need, praying we get him.
