Leddy, Komarov, Cizikas, Clutterbuck

Pulock is more important than all of those players, so if you need to move a couple to make room you do it

I've seen a couple of "Boychuk+Wilde+2nd or 3rd to the Ducks" trades that, as a Ducks fan, I'd be ok with. Only 2 years left of Boychuk, and odds are that he ends up on LTIR at some point anyway.

These are my takes on the situation. Lots of maneuvering, but I'd the moves are fair or close to it

I think you're going to have a harder time than that moving that much money out in a flat cap world tbh.

Never said it would be easy. We're giving up a lot in draft/prospect capital in these scenarios.

They're going to have to get creative. It's been done before (Lou has done it before). Looking forward to see how they tackle it.

Boychuk is only signed for two more seasons not three, and while his cap hit is $6MM, since his contract was front loaded, he's only owed about $5MM in actual cash over those two seasons (assuming his 2020-21 bonus was paid on 7/1 as it was supposed to be). That's going to appeal to some teams that may have cap space but are short on cash due to the pandemic, especially since it's not really a long term commitment.

By God, that's Melnyk music.

Lou isn't shy to make a deal with Dorion either, so it's not out of the realm of possibilities that a trade could be in the works.

Leddy , bailey , or cizikas would not be hard to move. They can also buyout clutterbuck.

Pulock grew up an islanders fan and he’s close with trotz, highly doubt he would sign an offersheet

He was coming off a 50 point season and he was on WPG 1st PP unit. He's obviously overpaid.

Well Morrissey is obviously on a very good contract... plus RHD get paid more than LHD...

Pulock should get 6-7.5M depending on term.
