Fine deals for DeBrusk, (+1Y to Kuhlman), Senyshyn, Zboril and Chara but Grzelcyk already signed his bridge deal. It would probably be more of 1Y prove it deal if he signs a one-year contract. Vatanen is RHD, can play LD but not the best fit and not a top pair D. Also at that price and not the biggest guy. Play Grzelcyk on the top pair instead.

Idk for Hoffman, I prefer sticking with Kase (and Studnicka at RW3).

If the bruins let krug go it’s because they believe in the youth, not to sign a worse version.

You said, “we,” referring to buffalo. How many teams you own?

I wouldn’t give Hoffman that high an AAV. Everything else is good.

My biggest concern with Hoffman is the drama he had in Ottawa. But he’s been close and a couple times went over 30 goals every year since he’s been full time. We’ve been spoiled with great contracts. I don’t think you will get a 30 goal scorer now for less than 7.

I just don’t see Kase as the goal scoring depth that we need at 2RW. Stud maybe. But he needs time to grow.

Fine if you feel that way, I prefer going with Kase. They didn't acquire him to trade him 4 months after either..
