NYR pass immedietly. bracco and dermit might get you anderson alone but geo is worth more than anderson. Youre not getting a starting goalie for scraps.

“Backup goalie” I mean if I said Bracco was an elite top 6 winger it doesn’t do anything for the value either.

Allen just set the market for Goalies trades and him being above average Backup, but Georgiev is supposed to land 1st...i mean......and then theres a soaking Swede in that trade, who thinks he should be playing with big bois just cause he was drafted inside Top 10.....

Canes might be interested in Anderson if it's a straight player for player trade, such as Mrazek for Anderson. But they really aren't paying a premium to get a goalie who has stats over the past 2 years that are very similar to the goalies they currently have, and especially since he only has one year remaining.

he always plays great against the leafs and could be a cheap starter to improve defence. I wouldn't mind him between then pipes to be honest

he could be a back up but he always plays solid against the leafs so i wouldn't mind him as the starter next year

go look at anderson's numbers when he was on anaheim and go look at carter harts. Georgiev is 24 repeating almost identical stats if not better and look at what those players value were and are. Just because you add a middle 6 forward prospect into a deal Does not warrant a starting goalie once again.

Andersen was a “starter”.... and had “better numbers”....

Again Georgiev could become a starter or he could **** the bed. Goalies are fickle. You are not getting starter return for a backup.

Thing is we are working nation and we work our way up....not demanding but earning......check all the 6th and 7th rounders that turned into stars if i may use that kind of reference

Thing is TML has run Tandems in past...didnt work out pretty well.....till D wont be build first, you can put Hasek into net and he will be 2,87 same as Andersen. Tandems can work behind CAR and STL type of defence ( tho both Teams screwed it up last Season in terms of upgrading )..and belive me....quality-wise Georgiev & Campbell would do much worse then Bernier & Reimer did.....

Constant he is, i admit....Georgiev....at 3,04 GAA and 91,4% ...even Hutchinson was 2,71 GAA and 90,8% in his first three Seasons as Backup....think again....but if we focus on eye test only.....he will be good nemesis to Sparks in AHL

But then again....its Goalies....maybe he will just drink Red Bull one day and turn into a Starter....lets see how it will end for him in NYR in 2027

anderson wasnt a starter at the time they were rotating goalies without giving one a starter over the other. Even though gibson was way better they gave anderson ice time to boost his value.

54 games in a year is a starter. Also, better numbers. Georgiev isn’t a bad goalie and still has room to grow. But you can’t expect a return on his ceiling.

Yeah i agree with that you can't expect a return for his ceiling but his stats indicate he is a starting goalie already, Also has bailed out nyr on stretches where king has waivered over the last few years due to age. NYR will be selling their players at a respectful value with their ceiling in mind but not holding all of its value. Currently with their situation its much wiser to hold onto geo and either move king at 50% retained or buy him out and run shesh and geo rotating. Which would drive geo's value higher because the team needs him to stay if they go through with that plan.
