The thing is, We aren't shopping him. The offers are lackluster but still. We'd only move him for a good return.

Leafs got the 15th overall pick for a third liner and we simply wan't something that's not AHL scrubs and overpaid mid-tier players that Leafs fans want to dump.

1st-round pick OR impactful NHLer OR promising prospect. Leafs have offered their overpaid excess they don't want anymore and mid round picks we don't need.

Look I agree that many rangers fans will overvalue him and but they’re offers are crazy low I’d say asking price is 2 2nds but clearly rangers are looking for more if they didn’t take kappy so I’d say they want a young impact player and a pick but tbh not sure

No i agree. I hope they get a very good return for georgie. At the same time, that kapanen trade was a clear overpayment. Will it set the market for this trading season? The goalie market is also very strong this year, both in the trade market and ufa pool. We will see.

Main reason Georgiev won't move is because the goalie market Is so saturated.

To be fair, he is not the easiest guy to price. No goalie is, tbh. Especially young ones.

NYR is an embarrassment of riches in the net. Gotta deal one of these guys. Let the Tyler Wall era begin....would take him for late pick.

No thanks. Georgiev is worth at least that or we'll just keep him.

Should probably just keep him because he quite frankly isn't worth what you want for him. And that's not a knock against him; goalies don't carry a lot of value at any time really, and especially not when the market is this flooded.

It is hard to gauge his value.

I'd say his value is about the same Campbell's was when he was traded to the Leafs.

Most of that package to the Kings was for Clifford and not Campbell.

I'd say Georgiev's realistic value at most is 2nd rounder and prospect OR bottom 6 FW.

I know Tyler Wall. He's 3-4 years away from NHL ice.

Exactly why I don't see a deal happening. It's simply not worthwhile.

Sometimes players are just worth more to the organization they're with than they are to anyone else. Those players don't make sense to trade.
