PIT
  1. Domi, Max [RFA Rights]
Additional Details:

  2. McCann, Jared
Additional Details:
Some picks/specs from 2020 and 21 drafts
2.
PIT
Seattle or somewhere, trade Murray for picks, use those picks to convince SEA to take Hornqvist, trade both Murr and Hornqvist separately, lose Blueger or Riikola or someone we sign in 2020 FA to SEA, in which case keep POJ if Riikola goes, and play Laf or Miletic at 4C if Blueger goes, any way, i would be stunned if either is still on the team in 3 years

    PIT
    ANA
    1. Johnson, Jack
    Additional Details:
Insert picks/specs depending on the year the contract is moved, or keep him if he's still on the team and the cap starts gong up a bit with SEA and the new TV deal

Read the trade description, I said MTL decides to keep Domi for anther few years for some reason, giving PIT some time to gain some assets to add some draft picks and specs that they could add to the trade

If we keep Domi for the next year or two, we’re keeping him long term. I’m assuming this is under the pretense that Danault is moved, and if so, we’d keep Domi to be a 3C, and it will only get better as Suzuki & KK mature. If we keep him and he does well on the wing, then he stays on the wing. If we keep him and he struggles on the wing, then he’s gone by the deadline.

And we aren’t trading Domi for scraps. There’s nothing in the Penguins organization that both teams would be willing to make a deal around for Domi.

Nah, I was assuming you keep Danault (playing the kids over him is absurd anyway imo) and keep Domi as a safety net for injuries/if/when Kotka and/or Suzuki regress to the mean, and i don't think it's a case of how good he does on the wing, it's a case of whether he's willing to play wing long term or not

Again, assuming the trade is in a few years, who knows what the pens could have for picks and specs on top of McCann and POJ (and we have Poulin who I'd move for Domi in a heartbeat)

At the rate that Rutherford is trading away 1st round picks, it looks like you’ll soon have no prospects at all. Anyways, if that were the case with Domi, then we’re better off trading Domi for a winger, rather than trading him for prospects that won’t help our team until Weber and Price are no longer part of the team.
