Minor detail but if that’s the D corps, no chance Murphy is on the bottom pairing below Boqvist and Mitchell.

Definitely fair trade values but Minnesota will want a center back I'm guessing. Maybe move Barratt or Kurashev plus the 1st and a 4th? Or flip Roslovic and a 2nd as part of a deal to get Brodin.

Mitchell and Murphy could be swapped. Minor detail like you said. I just think Those are the partners that we be together 5v5. Brodin, Kieth, and Murphy would have more overall ice time than Mitchell and Boqvist. Boqvist would be on PP1, Murphy would be on PK1. PK would be:

Brodin-Murphy
Kieth-Koekkoek

Boqvist mans PP1 and Kieth PP2. Mitchell would not have as much ice time as Kieth, Brodin, and Murphy just because he's technically on the 2nd pair. It's kinda the same as how kane is on the 2nd line but leads all forwards in Chicago in minutes

Agree, you'd have Murphy and Keith playing together and would be a great pairing and Mitchell on the 3rd line with Koekko or Carlsson.

If Minnesota will do Roslovic and a 2nd that should be the deal. Otherwise I would do barett and 1st.

Only issue I have is I'd like to see a cap hit closer to 81.5 mil, but good job these trades are even

What do you mean? You want the leftover 1.3 mil spent?

I'd think Roslovic and Barratt would be of interest but would need to be a 1st included in both now that I think of it with Barratt requiring a 3rd or 4th also.

Really can't get much closer, there are carryover bonuses just under $1M I'm pretty sure of.

Winnipeg would say no. They would keep Ehlers due to his better long term contract.

They would have more control over DeBrincat. He has 3 years on the current deal and is an RFA at the end of it. Plus Strome is a large upgrade over Roslovic. Ehlers is a marginal upgrade over Ehlers in comparison

Totally disagree on that opinion. This trade makes sense for both teams and is on point with value.

But Debrincat will cost more in 3 years while Ehlers is a better player locked up for another 5 years with a better contract now and will get better every year. Debrincat also doesn't play a position of need for the Jets, so they won't spend a major asset to get something they don't need.

That's cool. We all have different opinions. It doesn't work for Winnipeg value wise or need wise.
