Description

I read something on the athletic that said the Bruins may look to move Carlo. I need to preface this before silkysmooth pops a blood vessel but I dont think it would be a good idea AT ALL to trade carlo. The Bs are set up with arguably the best 1/2 RHD punch for years and they shouldnt change that. However I still like the moves I made and think its a really cool, new team

Carlo would be absolutely perfect in WPG. Him and Morrisey could be a great pair.

Obviously the Wild would much rather a right shot/center but Debrusk seems like hed fit in really well into Minnys system. Cap retention isnt likely but kinda needed it to sign Brodie who I really like.

and yes I know the cap doesnt work, could be tinkered with in contracts (shorter deal for Gryz, little less $ for Chara, change roster spots, etc) but again, this was just a fun team to make. Im bored

Another stupid idea from Fluto; idk how he thought of that. Trading him after Krug is gone is dumb. Bruins didn't traded Andersson for nothing; the RD is set for years. Ehlers would be great but the price would be too big.

But then, why did you trade Carlo if you think it's not a good idea at all

yea kinda figured theyd want a RHF or center. At least its better than the Johnsson+Dermott packages

Bruins arent giving up Carlo, thats that
Literally none of these trades makes sense
Why downgrade RHD and get an older 2nd line winger for that much when we could just leave things alone

Overall: good lines, good contracts, but bad signings / trades

I can tell you are not biased by the way the guy that posted this said you might pop a blood vessel at the mere sight of this post. Ha ha. But I honestly do agree that Carlo should not be moved I was just trying to see if people thought that was better value for Ehlers

Lol its not my opinion dude

I never think my opinion is right. My opinion is that Krug will come back, but I have made many ACGMs without Krug because i know I might be wrong
My opinion is that Debrusk will sign a long term dlea, but i have made ACGMs with bridge deals because I know I might be wrong

But saying that the bruins doing this is dumb? Thats not my opinion, thats a fact lol. There is no reason to shake up the whole team, give up a bunch of picks and prospects to come out with a weak 2nd line still and a worse RHD. Its literally pointless

See @Jambo is just a matter of me having reasoning and facts to back up my "opinions" (in his opinion lol). No bias here

Also believe me im here to have fun lol, i am in good standing with so many awesome and fun people on here (mcgruff and csick just to name a few that im sure you know).
The guys on here that are just here to be rude and right people are bcarlo25, dartguy22, leafs_and_sens_fan, etc...

I aint tryna be rude, but come on man, you have to be able to see that its just so many big moves that make the team worse.

well the point of the post was if the Bruins traded Carlo (an idea from the Athletic) how they could look. Like I said I dont want them to trade Carlo and dont think they should. But if you trade him, youd need to get a guy like Ehlers. Definetly a different kinda team
