No chance with the Columbus deal. Bjorkstrand is not going anywhere. We'd be happy to trade you Wennberg and a 4th for a 2nd.

I'd do the Avs deal. I hate the rest of it though.

I don’t really like the Columbus deal in general, feels weird for both sides. Tierney is a valuable player and we also give up a couple picks, and Wennberg is basically a cap dump at this point. Bjork is great ofc but they won’t want to give him up and this might be a lot to give up for us as well. I also don’t like trading Pinto, and the only goalies I would be interested in acquiring are Demko or Georgiev as they are young enough to fit our timeline (wouldn’t be opposed to prospects like DiPietro or Tarasov as well lol, and we would acquire these guys as compensation for cap dumps, these teams are unlikely to just trade them directly). I don’t think Calgary would want Duclair, they have enough LWs and I also think he could fetch us a late 1st or high 2nd. I don’t know if Tampa does that trade but I wouldn’t be opposed to it. I like the idea of acquiring Zadorov as well.

the Columbus trade is great for sens. Like really great. Bjorkstrand carries our forward core this year. And tierney is equal to wennberg In skill. The picks are whatever at this point due to it being nowhere near his value. Wennberg can be bought out for 500k for 3 years and 900k for the following 3. So it’s not as bad as it looks.

OTT has the picks, prospects and cap space to go and get some cornerstone pieces. I’d say GO BIG, or play long game.

Yeah I wouldn’t move Pinto unless we are acquiring a top 6F or top 4D

Yeah but losing Brown, a pick and retaining 8M on Zaitsev over the next 4 years?

Pittsburgh trade for Ottawa is short sided to say the least. Pittsburgh seems to want a lot for Murray and Ottawa should stay away. Killorn has a NTC and he not going to chose a trade to Ottawa. Would Ottawa be willing to retain salary in a three way trade with CBJ and Winnipeg?
