I wouldn't mind having Kovalchuk in the lineup, but starting Thompson over Evans is kind of counterproductive

Fans are so quick to turn on the players, it's crazy! Either way, I don't think MB manages the team to please the journalists. Domi and Danault are not the problem, they are part of the solution. We have the cap space to keep them all.

they will alternate - Evans will probably start on his RW like Suzuki did. Make him learn the basic, then transition to center.

I think it's far from realistic... This is practically the same roster as last year (that finished 24th in the league..) apart from Romanov and Allen.

I'm not getting my hopes up that Bergevin will make a huge splash, but you have to expect some adjustments, no?
