I can't see DET giving up both a B+ prospect and the 32OA pick for a guy that is on the downside of his curve at 6.5mm/year. If he was the missing piece maybe, but not in the rebuild.

Rasmussen is heading toward bust territory. That 2nd round pick won’t be half the player Fowler is and if it does it’s gonna be 2-3 years away. Fowler can help ease Seider’s transition to the NHL and that left side in Detroit is a mess. Understatement even.

Rasmussen is far from being a bust. He had a great year in the AHL apart from the injuries he had. His first year in the NHL was to have him not play Junior one more year. Even that for a 19yr old getting 12 mins a game, he didn't play that bad. He's been playing very comparable to others in his draft class.

Wings pass, we are rebuilding, 30 year old Injury prone dmen don't help us in our rebuild.

Counter, dekeyser to Anaheim for lunderstrom and a 2nd, same trade going the other way, would you do it? I don't think so

Make it a 3rd and I'd do that in a heartbeat...can we maybe dump Nielsen on you too?

"He's been playing very comparable to others in his draft class." This is the worst draft class in maybe 30 years. We'll be lucky if Ras is a 3rd liner.

How many Griffin games did you watch last year? Or did you just pull up his EP profile?
