Korpisalo for a career ahl player, a 7th D which they absolutely dont need and a 3rd round pick that will probably never play in the NHL. Do you see the disconnect.

That’s an easy no from Columbus. We counter with Murray, Gerbe and a 2nd for Nylander.....

Bracco may just need a change of teams to be an NHL player, Dermott is absolutely not a 7th D, has potential to become top 4 and a third that could end up becoming an NHLer. Of course if you look at it in a negative way it sucks

You said this better than I could, though here's a poem:

If you're offering Dermott and Bracco
and expecting back Korpi, you're whacko.
And including a third
Doesn't polish this turd,
And this tastes worse than chewing tobacco.

Either way, CBJ say no. Unless you want to include a first, I doubt the team will put Korpi in a trade involving that many "maybes" and "potentiallys," particularly when one of them is already at a position of strength.

If CBJ trade with TOR this offseason, it'll most likely be because they are shopping for Nylander.

Just showing how bad the trade is and how little interest Columbus has in making this trade... it’s AWFUL for this.

Nobody was comparing, he was making another bad trade to show you how bad the trade really was. I hope you understand now.

If he has potential to be a top 4, I higher recommend Leafs keep him as their is not good. Jones is the same way for the Oilers and there is no way we look at getting rid of him. Low cost right now.

I think either of the CLB goaltenders is the best way forward, if the Leafs move on from Freddie. That being said, when the Leafs got Freddie it cost a 1st & a 2nd rounder. Would have to guess that is the starting point for Korpisalo, but maybe a 1st & 3rd as the 1st in Freddie deal was 30th overall and the Leafs would likely be offering the 16th. Merzlinkins likely less but the Leafs could do worse than a Merzlinkins/Campbell duo.

Why does every leaf fan think a trade around kerfoot for bennett would work for us? They are vastly different players with one average skillset (Kerfoot) and one tenacious playoff one (Benny).
