This is a steal, and another contract almost spot on what I predicted. I've been doing 2.5-2.85 x 4 for the last few months.

This should be a pretty good comp for graves.

Maybe. I think the avs should go a bit shorter on Graves. Only really half a season of superb play and 3/4 notable. You're the avs fan, but i'd do 2.75Mx2

I agree. 2 years max is what I would go with graves as well. Just sets the market for him sub 3m. Some of the contracts on this site for him were 4-5m aav, which was yikes

Wouldn’t be surprised if Sakic gets him for cheaper to be honest. Could see 4x2M.

I’m honestly thinking that after kind of a stinker of a playoffs for Toews we get that down to 3.5 mil AAV

Mayfield has been worse, but I agree toews hasn’t been playing well. Still a great defenseman and I hope lou gets him locks up for 4+ years

I originally had him pegged at 4 years @ $2.5M. I got worried when I saw that Evolving Hockey had him for $1M higher for the same term. Glad he signed closer to my original projection.

Walker is a great offensive play driver and he’s solid on the pk. If he can improve his defensive play 5v5, he’ll be worth over 5 mill.

Yeah he would be a better option for Toronto than Weegar or Demelo even. If I’m Toronto I at least enquire about a deal that looks like this:

Kerfoot or Johnsson + Liljgren + 15th overall for Walker + Lizotte. And then that leaves me with cap space for a UFA Dman on top of Walker and Lizotte
