Really great value. Obviously, Kings are planning on protecting him from Seattle next summer. I would have preferred slightly more money for one more year, but this is a great deal.

The last one. Their is huge gap in offense ability and shut down presence. Walker doesnt get the harder minutes like Doughty does.

Keep in mind, Doughty has had one of the worse D man (THE WORST D MAN IMO) in the NHL as a partner for the last 4 years in Derek Forbort. Except this season it was mainly Hutton and Joakim Ryan😬

You'll see him slowly start to become the Doughy we all know next season and when he gets Bjornfot as a partner.

Walker is the best defenseman in LA at the moment and it isn't close. This is a great signing.

Just once, I would like to see a poll like this with over 50 responses where it's unanimous, especially when it's a clearly good deal. Hasn't being contrarian on polls like this just been done to death? I don't believe that anyone actually thinks this is a bad deal. He's 25, and if he's a #5 defensemen, this is still Ok. Is there anyone thinking he isn't even a decent #5?
