No way this happens it’s a mid range salary dump for high salary dump plus a pick and elite level prospect

I'm not sure how you can consider it a mid-range salary dump when there are 2 years left on Eriksson's contract and only 1 year left on Anisimov's. The additional year of salary shed will allow the Canucks to easily sign Hughes and Pettersson. Also, they need to decide which goaltender that they want to go with before the expansion draft.

then you guys are not making the playoffs for the next couple years unless you want to let Seattle take Demko. Unless you trust Benning to do some wheelin and dealin in th summer of the expansion draft
