Cant see many team wanting him w/o retention so I adjusted the cost to make it more appealing to more teams.

Tuch should not be traded, he is finally healthy and has been a beast in the playoffs

I like Virtanen...but he is gonna want more than that, also he is a big downgrade over Tuch.

You already how I feel about Tony D.

Which is why Tuch will get a bunch of futures in a trade

When that ‘downgrade’ spot Ismail on the third line, as long as the guy can produce, it doesn’t really matter

DeAngelo for Stastny and a second maybe?

Tuch is expensive, Virtanen is basically a 20G scorer, and Deangelo will bring good secondary offense from the backend. This team is better all around IMO.

I guess we agree to disagree.

One of his last ACGMs was him trading Fleury 3.5M retained and Stastny 1.5M retained for scraps so don't count on him understanding the importance of futures and improving.

35 in Dec Stastny with 38 points in 71 games and 1 year on his contract at 6.5m for a 25 year old RD Deangelo just starting his peek after having a breakout year with 53 points in 70 games... Rangers hang up on you.

If people think Henrique is “old and declining” they will definitely not want Statsny

Sure, more appealing, but Calgary has 17M to sign a backup, Hamonic, Brodie, Mangiapane, Jankowski and 2-3 more depth players.

I understand what you're doing, but nobody is jumping on a 35 year old injury prone goalie with a $7M cap hit without vegas taking a contract back, or retaining salary.
and the only teams that could afford it (Ottawa and Detroit) either don't want to spend the money, or want to take for futures.

    Fleury doesn't move easily.

If you read the trade it clearly states "Add as you see fit"
NYR needs centers and Statsny is still a serviceable 2C in the short term. Especially if they put him with Panarin.

Unless there's retention or money coming back cant see a market for a 35 year old guy who has to be moved to sign his ufa replacement. Plus there is a surplus on the trade/ufa market.

7 million is a huge cap hit on a declining asset. 7 million = 1st round pick.

Western teams would be crazy to bail out vegas from there goalie problem.

I agree don't touch Tuch he's a beast and cap friendly Tony D is unproven yet his style won't mix with this team

Vegas is a tough hard hitting team that wears down their opponents . He's smaller than most of their dmen and he's not hard hitting I don't see a fit
Zadorov from the Avs would be a much better fit here and probably for the same cap hit

Most hard hitting teams have a couple small players who don't hit.
